Impossible to talk to a tech support person

I used to be able to talk to a tech support person at Canon, now it is impossible. I have an account. I've registered my products. No one will talk to me. I currently have 2 Canon printers and have purchased others in the past. I spent two hours trying to get someone to help me.

trying too register my new printer but it says that the serial number is incorrect however it isn't it is right and when I tried to contact customer support it just keeps taking me around and around in circles and the number says its 7 days a week 24 hrs a day but it isn't. this is not cool I need to get this done now while I have the time but I can't and there is no email for me to send to anyone to get this resolved later either

Printer not working

have had trouble with the 3260 printer since I bought it. get message printer offline.

Not able to talk to anyone to find out what that means or how to fix it. Got hold of a technician to walk us through getting the printer set up correctly and he tried to sell us McAfee which I already have. He became angry because would to buy McAfee. Hung up on him and many of my icons disappeared from my computer.

He was rude. I suspect this was a scam but reached him from the canon support line.

I would like to return the printer but it has been too long. It is frustrating to lose the money I paid for it assuming canon was a reliable company.

Basically, it keeps your money from the printer (which is perfectly functional) and the paid customer support (yes, apparently this is now a thing on corporate US).

I purchased a TR4720 printer on October 16, 2023, through Amazon.com (see attached receipt) and attempted to install it. It didn't work.

The printer is perfectly functional and the issue is the "forever problem" of installing it on a Windows computer - that is why I bought it: Epson doesn't work with Windows 10 anymore. I tried to get support: Canon SELLS customer support, which is illegal and outrageous, but I bought it. I just complain as a last resort, given that big corporations are by definition dishonest and exploitative.

Canon refused to send me the code, and refuses to provide support for their product. I am not *asking* for support: I am demanding it.

We purchased a Canon printer MG3620 just to have it not supported on website for set up . We called tech support and all he did was try to charge us 150 for a best buy firewall which was absurd ans ridiculous I will never purchase another Canon product ever.

My Canon printer was working great, until I updated the firmware to the latest available version online. After that it started giving different error codes and it does not print anymore. Contacted Canon support and the response basically was, your printer has more than 2 years so it's not covered anymore by product guarantee, throw it to the trash, and we give you a 20% discount on a new purchase on our website. Really Canon? So you literally make my printer unusable and that's your solution? Canon never again

Preferred solution: I would like to fix my printer, that requires a firmware which apparently it's only on Japan and tech support is unable to get it. Worst case, that it's not possible to be repaired, a fair discount on a new purchase.

My recent interaction with Canon's warranty department has been nothing short of frustrating and disheartening. I purchased a Canon product with the expectation that their warranty would provide me with peace of mind and support in case of any issues.

However, my experience has been quite the opposite.
Firstly, trying to navigate the process of making a warranty claim was unnecessarily convoluted. The instructions provided were vague and unclear, and it took several attempts to even figure out how to initiate the process. When I finally managed to submit my claim, the response time was excruciatingly slow. It felt like my case was being neglected or ignored, which is far from the responsiveness I would expect from a reputable company's warranty department.
After weeks of waiting, I was informed that my claim was denied due to reasons that were not adequately explained.

It was baffling to receive such a response after investing time and energy into following their instructions. When I attempted to communicate further to seek clarification, the lack of empathy and understanding from their representatives was deeply disappointing. It was as if they were more interested in closing the case quickly than in actually assisting a customer in need.
In a world where customer support and warranty services can make or break a brand's reputation, Canon's warranty department falls drastically short.

The inefficiency, lack of transparency, and dismissive attitude have left me frustrated and regretful of my choice to invest in their products. This experience has certainly made me question whether I can rely on Canon's warranty for any future purchases.

I phoned to get app for phone. The rep kept me on the phone 3 hours and ripped me for 300 dollars. I put it on my phone without him in 9 seconds. I will never buy canon. I will never recommend canon. I will tell everyone Not to buy your products or service.

Is the worst printer, they do not even have Microsoft verified drivers available. The customer support is also non-existant. Will no longer buy Canon products because they do not care about their clients
