They need to keep their tech support open 24 hours a day and be more supportive of their customers. I have never had this problem with their products before.

Verified ReviewerCanon Pixma TS3520 multifunction printer not compatible with envelopes.
Can't even print envelopes. Not even a business #10 envelope, one of the most common envelopes in the world.
This printer is simply trash. Tech support advised that if I had done my research better before purchase, I would have seen the technical specifications of all the printer's 'incompatibilities.' I am a retired network administrator, IT manager, and Computer Forensic Investigator. I cannot remember in my more than 40 years of experience encountering a printer that I could not properly print a document with an envelope.
The only way I will ever have a Canon printer in any environment of mine is if someone gives it to me as a gift. All it will do is sit unopened.

Had a Canon printer. Something went wrong when we had a power outage due to storms.
The printer would not work after that. I called customer service to get technical support but was told I needed to pay to get technical support. I did everything the online manual instructed me to do with no success. It instructed me to contact technical support.
I went and purchased a new Wi-Fi connection printer. There was no manual in the carton. I followed instructions on the designated website. Could not connect the printer to my computer or smartphone.
There were no clear online instructions and I followed to a T. I attempted for over an hour with no success. No customer service is available on weekends. Online manual is very insignificant.
I am super frustrated at this point. The product may be good if you can get it to work.
I liked my first Canon printer but am beginning to hate Canon as they provide little to no customer service other than online, which is severely lacking. All I can say is, buyer beware!

Preferred solution: Help via phone connecting my printer via Wi-Fi or refund if they want to charge me for speaking with someone. There is a wide range of other printers to choose from.

This is about the options about sharing your information and if you do not agree then Canon states that certain services will not be available to you.
They want access to your online activities, social media interest and interactions, files that are uploaded for print and from third party cookies, personal info, etc., list goes on and on. Here is what they claim all this info is for:
Purposes of use:

**To provide, maintain, and protect our products and services;
**To improve the quality of our products and services, and to develop new ones.
**To help solve any issues you might have with our products and services;
**To protect our users and Canon; and
**For other purposes described in our Privacy Policy
They also inform you that your info will "travel through out the web and they cannot guarantee the safety of your information, yet they sure want a whole lot of it.
I do not feel that if I do not agree with this that I should be limited to services. I have the right to refuse if I am not ok with there "Purposes".
It is as if Canon is giving an ultimatum.
Not good at all.

Bought a printer 3 months old used maybe five times it keeps paper jamming. Bought extended warranty it's worthless, was told I need to call Cannon also worthless.
$100 printer missed $300 worth of work trying to get this thing taken care of piece of garbage would not recommend it to anyone. May look to sue for my money back.

I LOVE this Power Shot SX 420 IS camera so much Ive kept faith through 3 repeat purchases after it stops working. I even gifted 2 because I get crisp zoomed photos and great shts.
But I give up. It just stops working.

Printer cannot find necessary software update. Finally found but then could not install.
Printer has numerous problems with wifi connections.
Company service is absolute awful. They cannot think outside the box, are poorly trained, and appear lazy - just want customer with problems to go away.

Canon Gatekeeps their Customer Service Support
I have had my Canon Pixma ix6820 for 4 years, going on 5. I just ran into my first technical issue that I couldn't resolve on my own, only to find that Canon makes it extremely difficult to contact customer support.
Not only are you required to have a MyCanon Account, you have specifically go in and ENABLE SUPPORT. Why is it not just included already??? Not only that, upon calling Canon, they claim that I do not have an account despite the fact that I can literally view my MyCanon Dashboard and have enabled support. Then, finally, I am told on my MyCanon account that for my printer, it costs $19.99 per incident to contact customer support.
Extremely disappointed in what is supposed to be a high quality company. Clearly they are only money hungry and will not be receiving any support from me going forward.
Trash your canon products and go for another brand that will actually pick up the phone so you can ask a simple question rather than being forced to purchase an entirely new printer. Disgusting behavior from Canon.

Stole my brand new camera
Received a brand new sx740 HS as an anniversary gift from my husband. The camera took horrible photos.
Absurdly bad color. So, I called canon for a resolution. They advised me to send camera in for repair. Instead of taking the time to repair MY camera with less than 100 clicks on it they send me a USED REFURBISHED camera...
With potentially a gazillion clicks on it. And not clean! Are you kidding me. I am disgusted!
I have been a professional sports photographer for years. I own multiple professional Canon slrs plus alllll the Canon equipment that goes along with that. I am horrified. This wasnt customer service just plain laziness incompetence.
And why not contact the consumer prior to making this ridiculous decision.
I could have sold it on eBay which is exactly where this one is going!! Goodbye Canon!!

trying too register my new printer but it says that the serial number is incorrect however it isn't it is right and when I tried to contact customer support it just keeps taking me around and around in circles and the number says its 7 days a week 24 hrs a day but it isn't. this is not cool I need to get this done now while I have the time but I can't and there is no email for me to send to anyone to get this resolved later either

I used to be able to talk to a tech support person at Canon, now it is impossible. I have an account.
I've registered my products. No one will talk to me.
I currently have 2 Canon printers and have purchased others in the past. I spent two hours trying to get someone to help me.

If you use their site, once you go to manage subscriptions, there is no means to cancel their utility.
I don't have the camera anymore and have no intention on using it in the future. Based on this poor customer service, I will never buy another Canon product again.

I purchased 2 Canon printers for our personal use--one for husband and one for me. I have installed numerous printers, pc's, etc., over the past 2 years.
When the first printer would not connect, contacted Canon tech support and was told there is a "fatal error" on your pc and in order for us to fix the many issues (corrupted files, etc.) that is preventing the installation, we will need $499.00 and a payment plan can be set up. I declined. Second printer, same issue and this time tech support said it would be $299 to fix my pc issues and remove the "fatal error." I declined.
I restarted both Pc's and re-installed the printer driver on each and printers working fine. Is this the new "highway robbery" system for Canon??
